Graduation Dress

For my graduation, I wanted to wear something that truly represented me and my journey as a design major. I decided to make my own dress. Something I had always wanted to do since starting at Auburn. I started with a Hobby Lobby pattern but customized it to make it my own, shortening the length and adjusting the fit to create a more modern silhouette. The dress is made from eyelet cotton fabric, featuring a simple boat neckline and a low back for a balance of elegance and ease. My goal was to design something timeless, understated, and personal. A piece that reflected both my style and the skills I’ve developed over the years. Walking across the stage in a dress I made myself felt like the perfect way to close this chapter.
